How We Create Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete requires more skill and timing than a standard pour. After we prepare the base and pour the concrete, we add color using either integral color mixed into the concrete or color hardener applied to the surface. Then, before the concrete fully sets, we press texture mats into the surface to create the pattern you chose.

The timing has to be perfect. If we stamp too early, the pattern will not hold. If we wait too long, the concrete becomes too hard to stamp. We have years of experience reading concrete and knowing exactly when to work it. After stamping, we apply a release agent that creates color variation for a more natural look, just like real stone.

Once the concrete cures, we clean the surface and apply a sealer to protect your investment. The sealer enhances the colors, protects against stains and weather, and makes your stamped concrete easier to clean.
